At Norristown we have a highly trained staff of electrical engineers that specialize in EMC and Electronic Controls. Our 52,000 sq. ft. facility houses our two test enclosures, a complete metal fabrication shop, a 21,000 sq. ft. manufacturing floor, wave soldering equipment, and much more to help our customers meet their EMC and control requirements. With these capabilities, our operation is fully vertically integrated and it allows us to provide our customers a minimum turn around time.
At the Norristown facility we manufacture mostly low to medium volume requirements for commercial customers, all products for military and aerospace customers and other large filters such as facility filters, telephone line filters, data line filters and control line filters. This facility also houses all of our corporate HQ including Engineering, quality and Sales functions.
In an effort to provide our high volume commercial customers more cost effective and competitive products we initiated our China operations in 2001. Started initially as a partner facility in Shenzen, China we recently moved into our own wholly owned facility in Kunshan (near Shanghai), China. We utilize this facility for manufacturing standard and custom filters, coils, chokes, wire harnesses, cable assemblies, electronic motor controllers, electronic control boards and PC boards for our large volume commercial customers.
