The 1960 series is designed to meet or exceed the requirements of MIL-STD-220 with 100dB attenuation from 14 kHz to 1 GHz. These filters are capable of carrying full rated current without exceeding a 25°C temperature rise above ambient temperature. LCR 1960 series filters can be operated continuously at their rated currents and voltages and are capable of withstanding a 40% current overload for 15 minutes without degradation. (Suffix "N" in the Part Number Table below indicates grounded terminals for Neutral Line connection.)
General Specifications
LCR Power Line Filters comply with all the applicable requirements of MIL-F-15733 latest revision.
Filter cabinets are supplied with two separate covers to access input and output terminals. The filtered compartment is supplied with an EMI (RF) non-corrosive, environmental gasket to prevent RF Leakage and accommodate maximum isolation between input and output compartments.
Bleeder resistors are built into each filter line to discharge the capacitor voltage to ground potential during power shutdown.
The filters insertion loss is 100dB from 14kHz to 1 GHz measured per MIL-STD220.
Filters can also be supplied with the option of EMP, HEMP, HERF and various levels of transient voltage protection.
